Barmetrix Calgary
Pairing an undeniable passion for the Hospitality Industry with an unstoppable drive to succeed has landed Phil an integral position within the Barmetrix Company. Phil Grandbois is one of the newest franchisees with Barmetrix Canada, owning and operating the Calgary Central office.
After studying at the University of Waterloo, Phil set out to travel the world. In doing so, he gained immeasurable knowledge and devotion for the hospitality industry while simultaneously allowing him to showcase some of his many talents as a world class bartender. Phil also used the travel and experience to play an integral part in the management and training of staff in many profile locations all around the world.
Since first being exposed to the Barmetrix Company while managing a lounge in Australia, Phil has been driven to truly affect a quality change in the industry. Upon his return to Canada, the opportunity arose to become part of the Barmetrix team, and Phil couldn’t wait to get on board “I knew right after I met Jason in Australia (Barmetrix Global), that I wanted to really make hospitality my career, and the chance to become part of the global leaders in management reporting, training, and hospitality consulting was the perfect mix of my passions and experience”.
After training with Barmetrix Canada and the Toronto team Phil has returned to Calgary as driven as ever. In a short time Phil has already shared his expertise and experience of the hospitality industry with some of the most prominent hotels/restaurants/and lounges within the city, quickly gaining a name for himself as a well schooled and respected educationalist within the business. “I love the opportunity to have a career in line with my passions, and the opportunity to work with the Barmetrix Network of hospitality minds boasts for a successful future for my business, and a the business’ of my clients in Calgary”.
