Our Systems & Processes

BARMETRIX Inventory Control uses its purpose-built software to produce results that are 99.9% accurate. Our comprehensive, easy-to-read reporting is completed instantaneously (on site), with a full set of hardcopies sent to your venue within 24 hours.

How Our Process Works
  • Data Collection
    The stocktake is performed using laptop computers, digital scales and barcode scanners. All open bottles and kegs are weighed by the software and recorded to determine the volume down to a fraction of a ml. It's fast, accurate and data is only handled once!
  • Data Merging & Reconciliation
    The stock received for the relevant stocktake period is entered from invoices and sales are electronically downloaded from the Point of Sale system, or entered manually from cash register reads. All data collected by our team is then merged on-site to get a complete set of reporting.
  • Consultation & Strategy
    When all data has been collected and merged, a draft variance report is run. This allows us to identify any stock issue at the time of the stocktake and raise them with management before leaving your site. All information can be verified by your management team on site.
  • Double Check Venue
    Barmetrix double-check's your results on-site and identifies any issues of variance. We then consult with owners and/or management verifying our information before we leave the venue. When you receive a Barmetrix report, you are dealing with only the FACTS.
  • Consultation
    Barmetrix team is trained to not only produce reports but also in how to advise our clients how to achieve results. We have a number of proven strategies for dealing with most of the issues that erode profits. Many consider this the most valuable part of the service.
  • Produce Final Reporting
    Back at the office, the Barmetrix team will triple check the information before final reports are produced. We will then email soft copies and print and post hardcopies, all before close of business. Getting you your information in a timely fashion is key to our success.
