Here in the USA we celebrate Thanksgiving this week. This holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621 and is now a great excuse for friends and families to take a couple of days off and enjoy food, drink and each other’s company.
I love the idea that we actually GIVE THANKS during this pause, to demonstrate an “attitude of gratitude”.
This is easy to do with those we choose to surround ourselves with during this time but my challenge to you is to give a heartfelt thanks to three people who don’t expect to be thanked for their selfless contributions.
Have a wonderful holiday (and for those of you outside the USA take an extra 15 minutes at lunch and do the same!)
